Celebrating 30+ Years of Sustainable Beauty in Knoxville

Our Commitment to Earth Month

For over three decades, Natural Alternatives has proudly served the Knoxville community, providing a renewing salon and spa experience while nurturing a deep connection to our city and its surroundings. As we come together on another Earth Month celebration, join us as we explore the significance of Earth Month and celebrate over 30 years of making Knoxville a more beautiful—and sustainable—place to call home.

Earth Month holds special significance as we honor our city’s natural beauty and rich heritage. As our salons and spas grew up in this area, we’ve witnessed the changing landscape, admired the Smoky Mountains, and cherished the vibrant community that defines Knoxville. As stewards of our environment, we’re committed to preserving these treasures for future generations and ensuring that East Tennessee remains a thriving and sustainable community.

Supporting our Environment and

Partnering with Aveda for 30+ Years

As a longstanding member of the Knoxville community, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with Aveda, local organizations, and other initiatives that share our commitment to environmental stewardship.

This Earth Month, we’re proud to continue our support for two remarkable organizations: our Global and local partners, charity: water and Little River Watershed. Together, we’re working to protect our local waterways, promote clean water access for humans without that privilege, and ensure a sustainable future for East Tennessee and its residents.

Ways to Get Involved in Knoxville

Here are a few ways you can join us in honoring our mission of sustainable beauty and celebrating Earth Month locally and globally:

  • April 21: Aveda Global Walks for Water

Engage with Knoxville: Participate in #AVEDAWALKSFORWATER. Walk 3.7 miles and share a photo or video of your walk with #AvedaWalksforWater, and Aveda will donate $40 to charity: water, up to $200,000 USD. Why $40? It provides clean water to someone in need long-term. Why 3.7 miles? This is the average distance women walk, one way, for access to water in countries served by charity: water. Your contribution makes a lifetime of difference. This activation is valid April 15-22, 2024.

  • April 22: Earth Day & No Wash Day
